ISQB Hazardous Location Valve Series

Brand: Proportion-Air, Inc

The ISQB series control valve is an electronic pressure regulator designed to precisely and proportionally control the pressure of gases based on an electronic command signal.

The ISQB is an FM Approved Intrinsically Safe Valve approved for hazardous locations (see below for complete classification).

The ISQB controls pressure using two normally closed solenoid valves, one pressure sensor and a control circuit.

One valve (inlet) is actuated to allow unregulated supply media downstream into the system. The second (exhaust) valve actuates to allow working media to vent to atmosphere and with a threaded exhaust port, this can be captured.

The pressure sensor provides constant feedback to the control circuit which compares the pressure sensor feedback to the user supplied electronic command signal and actuates the appropriate valve until the two signals match.
